Cambium.Build took part in Foro de Fachadas 2026, one of the reference events of the construction industry in Argentina. The company, which is installing the country's first mass timber plant (CLT and GLT) in Corrientes, presented its building system there.

The forum revolves around a specific subject, the building envelope, but that specificity works as a starting point for discussing construction as a whole: how it is designed, for whom and with which materials. The audience confirms it: architects, practices, developers, companies and figures working on the future of cities.

The material, on the table

At its stand, Cambium.Build exhibited a model of the system and images of the construction process. The exchange with developers and companies focused on the concrete possibilities of mass timber, a material that is new as an industry and old as a resource, and on the steps to bring it into real projects.

The presentation is part of a longer path of technical work and conversations with colleagues, future partners and professionals who share a single conviction: there are other possible ways to build.

Available technologies

Pablo Baldomá Jones, founder of Cambium.Build, took part in the “Available technologies” panel. There he put forward the idea that ran through the whole presentation: touch to believe. Timber is assessed with technical criteria, but it is also perceived with the senses, and that direct experience is part of how the material earns its place in a project.

Facades that move

This edition's theme, “Facades that move”, invited every exhibitor to integrate the aesthetic and sensory dimension into design and business decisions, rather than treating it as a separate layer. The approach matches the logic of mass timber: in a solid timber building the structure is usually left exposed, and the same piece that carries the load defines the quality of the space.

Edition after edition, the forum returns to the same questions: how, what for and for whom we design, and whether the spaces being built today are the ones we will want to inhabit tomorrow. Talking about facades is, in the end, talking about cities, architecture and materials.

What comes next

For Cambium.Build, the forum was the opportunity to show the system to those who will design and build with it. Mass timber has a great deal to contribute to Argentine construction, and the next step is taking it from the stand to the site.
